A simple and relatively inexpensive power supply with a power of 650 W, the overall performance level of which corresponds to the 80+ Bronze class. According to the manufacturer, it will be the optimal power source for low-cost office PCs, home multimedia systems and mid-level gaming computers equipped with components with low power consumption. This is the middle and most common model in the GP family, which also includes solutions ranging from 400 W to 850 W. The basis of the Gamemax GM Series GM-500 power supply is a simple and time-tested hardware platform with traditional circuitry using the principle of group voltage stabilization, which ensures an adequate level of output voltage stability and an acceptable level of ripple. The power supply is equipped with inexpensive heat-resistan...t capacitors, provides stable power via the main +12V line, transmitting more than 80% of the total power of the device through it, and has an efficiency of around 85%, which fully complies with 80+ Bronze quality standards. Like other budget PSUs, the Gamemax GP-650 has a traditional fixed cable subsystem that allows it to work with different models of ATX and microATX mini-ITX motherboards. In order to save money, the manufacturer abandoned modular cables. Thanks to the presence of two PCIe 8-pin (6+2) connectors, the Gamemax GP Series GP-850 power supply can work with multiGPU configurations. It is also capable of powering up to four SATA devices. Thanks to the support of double direct conversion technology and the presence of all the necessary protective mechanisms, the manufacturer guarantees protection against overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OPP) and short circuit protection (SCP). Manufacturer's warranty - 2 years.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Gamemax GP Series power supplies offer a range of models suitable for various budgets and needs. Users appreciate the affordable price and features like braided cables and 80 Plus Bronze certification in some models. However, there are mixed reviews regarding noise levels, with some models being quiet under load, while others produce loud noise during heavy use. Quality concerns are noted, such as bad quality connectors and incomprehensible capacitors. Some users suggest spending a bit more for a higher-quality PSU, as the protection system can cause frequent reboots, affecting system stability. Overall, the Gamemax GP Series may be a good temporary solution for budget-conscious buyers, but investing in a more reliable PSU is recommended for long-term use.

great model, I really liked it
28 October 2018
I couldn't decide on a brand of PSU for my new PC for a long time, as there were many mixed reviews about this Gamemax. But I decided to go with the GP-400A model for a PC with a hyper processor 4560 and a video card 1060 with 3 GB, not counting the cooler, hard drive, and RAM, as they consume very little power. What can I say, the PSU is quiet, really quiet even under load, the power is sufficient, 120mm cooler, sleeved cables. I saw in some site's description that it has a modular system, but that's not true if anyone's wondering. It works, and I haven't thought about it since I installed it. The cables have velcro for cable management, the cable length is good, everything needed is there.
Quiet, braided wires

I don't recommend it. It's better to add 1 - 1.5k and buy something better.

A block is like a block. But due to loud rattling under heavy loads, I was forced to change it to a Zalman TX ZM600
