Compared to the base model of the Fuji GFX 100 medium format camera, the specimen in question lost about half a kilogram of excess weight and decreased in size by a good third.

At the same time, the efficiency of the stabilization system has increased — henceforth it allows you to compensate for up to 6 stops of shutter speed or exposure in 5 axes. Almost the entire area of the camera's image sensor is dotted with phase detection sensors, which bring autofocus capabilities to a new level of quality.

The camera is capable of focus in as little as 0.16 seconds and uses an updated tracking algorithm with Tracking AF or Face and Eye Detection AF. Video on a medium format mirrorless camera is recorded with a cinematic aspect ratio of 17:9 at a maximum resolution of 4096x2160 pixels. The bitrate reaches 400 Mbps. Clips in 10-bit 4:2:0 F-log quality are saved to an SD card, 12-bit 4:2:2 ProRes RAW are output to an external recorder via an HDMI port. The camera has a 3.2-inch swivel touchscreen, a high-resolution OLED viewfinder, an auxiliary information display on the top of the body, and a full range of up-to-date wireless communications, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The weight of the camera is 900 g, the width of its body is 15 cm, the height is 10.4 cm, and the depth is 8.7 cm.
