The Fractal Design Ion SFX-L is a slightly oversized SFX-L power supply measuring 12x12x6 cm. It is slightly larger than the regular SFX at 10x12x6 cm, but still much smaller than the classic ATX 14x15x9 cm. There are two wattages to choose from: 500 and 650W, both 80 PLUS Gold certified.
Circuitry developed and manufactured by High Power, here is a branded Fractal Design fan on a durable FDB bearing. The SFX-L already has a 12 cm impeller, but half the thickness, so the airflow is still weaker than that of the ATX. However, among the compact PSUs, it is the SFX-L that are the quietest, even at maximum load.
Cables made completely modular, that is, even the main ones for CPU and video card are removed. Moreover, the wires are made soft Ultra Flex, which is achieved by using a large number of the thinnest cores.
