Original Transformer Layout
One of the key features of the 6-person Fjord Nansen tent is the flexible interior space. By default, there are two separate sleeping areas on both sides of the vestibule: a large one for four people (width 235 cm) and a smaller one for two people (width 120 cm). This solution is convenient for groups with a couple, as well as for families with teenagers who prefer to sleep separately.
If desired, any of the sleeping areas can be removed, thereby increasing the vestibule space. For example, by removing the small room, you can get a 4-person tent with an extended vestibule and three entrances. Two doors are standard, which improves ventilation and provides easy access from different sides.
Reliable Frame, Moisture Protection
To create the tunnel shape of the tent, the set includes three fiberglass poles with a thickness of 11 mm. This construction is stable and allows for a ceiling height of up to 185 cm. Installation is simplified by the external frame and color-coded markings on the pole tips, although the process may seem time-consuming for beginners and people with little physical conditioning.
The materials provide an average level of waterproofing: the polyester tent fly and polyethylene floor are rated for 3000 mm water column.
Other Features
The tent comes equipped with steel poles for setting up a canopy over the entrance — this compensates for the rather narrow vestibule with a length of 125 cm. Ventilation windows, mosquito nets, and reflective guy lines make usage more comfortable and safer in the dark. The model weighs 10.8 kg, and the transportation dimensions are 70x25x25 cm.
