The low-cost solution from the east european NPO Ecosoft is designed to compete with more expensive flow filters for tap water purification. The main trump card of the model is the democratic cost of both the device itself and the replacement cartridges for it.

Filtration

The filter is designed specifically to purify water from chlorine and organic compounds. In parallel, it cuts off contaminants from 5 microns in size and traps heavy metal ions. Filtration of tap water is carried out in three stages: a mechanical cartridge retains large particles, a granular carbon filter removes chlorine and organic impurities, and a briquetted activated carbon in the last cartridge cleans and conditions the water.

Easy to install

The set with the filter includes all the necessary consumables for simple and convenient installation of the device under the sink. To cope with its installation is within the power of each consumer. That's just when installing a tap for purified water in a sink that is cut into the countertop, in some cases the length of the mounting pin may not be enough to fix the tap.

Nuances of operation

Filter owners leave entirely positive feedback on the quality of tap water filtration. However the resource of replaceable cartridges in the model is not so great and amounts to 1000 liters. Also, there are complaints about the inconvenient method of collecting water due to the push-type handle used in the design of the tap. In fact, everything is simple — to ensure a constant stream of water to fill the kettle, it is enough to lift the handle all the way up.

Operating pressure

The filter is intended for work in water supply systems with pressure from 2 to 5 atm. Therefore, if the water pressure in your apartment is strong enough, it would be useful to acquire a pressure reducer in order to avoid a possible failure of the model and, accordingly, protect your home from water leaks.
