The EnerGenie EG-PWC-PS500-01 inverter is designed for direct connection to a car battery and includes a complete 80 cm cable with ring terminals.
Maximum load
Connection through terminals is considered the most reliable, as it ensures strong contact. Using this inverter, you can power any electronics with a pure sinusoidal voltage of 230 V. However, please note that the total power of the connected devices should not exceed 500 W in continuous operation. In the short term, the EnerGenie EG-PWC-PS500-01 can handle peak loads of up to 1000W, which is useful for starting devices where the inrush current is significantly higher than the rated current.
Onboard interfaces
The inverter has high voltage conversion efficiency (about 92%) and includes a built-in cooling fan and LED operating status indication. Connection of consumers to the inverter can be done through one socket with a voltage of 230 V or via the USB A port. At maximum load, the device can operate in a temperature range from -10°C to +40°C, and at half power - up to +60°C.
Multi-level protection
The inverter is equipped with protection systems against overload, overheating, short circuit and reverse polarity. The remote control is available as an optional extra, but is not included as standard. The inverter housing is made of plastic and aluminium and weighs less than 2 kg. It is ideal for creating autonomous power systems from a car battery, which is discussed in detail in the corresponding article.
