1) Purchased for 12300 UAH.
2) Lasted 1 year and 2 weeks.
3) A technician from an authorized service center said the bearings need replacing, but since they are not removable, the drum needs to be replaced. Total cost is 8500 UAH, including labor. Timeframe is 3-4 weeks.
4) Argued with the service center, asking them to consider that the warranty expired just 2 weeks ago. They offered to do it cheaper, for about 5000 UAH.
5) Called in a trusted technician to repair the washing machine (with numerous successful repairs under his belt). Bearing replacement cost 2300 UAH. He replaced the bearing, ordering an Italian one instead of the original Chinese one. Repair time was 1 week.
Warned that the second bearing is permanently installed in the drum, making replacement without replacing the drum impossible, thanks to the manufacturer.
