empire legacy
The popular model of a home storage water heater from the well-known Swedish manufacturer Electrolux EWH 50 Gladius belongs to a line of simple products that are easy to use and maintain. The name of the series makes an unambiguous reference to the name of the short ancient Roman sword, the bearers of which spread the tradition of bath hygiene throughout the empire. A lightweight device weighing 18.5 kg with a 50-liter storage tank has a flat shape and, after installation, protrudes from the wall by only 28 cm. This technological solution, together with the additional protection of the tank with a magnesium anode, served as the basis for the manufacturer to provide a 5-year warranty for the water tank with an estimated boiler life of 8 years.
Fast hot water
The boiler is equipped with a pair of "dry" heating elements with a total power of 2 kW, which operate in one heating mode. Thanks to this, X-Heat heating elements heat up a full tank of water by 65 °C in a record short time of 100 minutes. The unit received an electronic control board with a mechanical thermostat that allows you to set water heating in the range from 35 °C to 75 °C (maximum temperature). The laconic panel is equipped with a contrasting digital display and a rotary knob with 2 temperature presets: ECO mode with water heating up to 55 °C and MAX heating mode up to a limit value of 75 °C. The device has triple protection: against excessive hydraulic pressure, switching on without water and overheating. The operating pressure range in the supply line must be between 0.5 and 6 bar.
