When purchasing this product, a receipt was issued with a specified warranty of 2 years for the product and 96 months for the tank. The Meridian Service Center (Dnipro city) provided me with a written response that the product is non-repairable due to through corrosion of the tank.
At the same time, the Meridian Service Center refuses to take any further action, citing that in their opinion, the tank was connected incorrectly (via a portable socket).
The portable socket used was from a quality manufacturer, with a copper cable cross-section of 2.5 mm, and equipped with automatic short-circuit protection.
But the issue isn't with the portable socket! The tank is made in China, and according to Meridian's own statistics, all ELEKTROLUX EWH 15 Rival U tanks start leaking after just one year of operation. The service center and the manufacturer have no choice but to come up with excuses just to avoid losing profit.
