Champion among cordless circulars
The DeWALT DCS576N saw is one of the most powerful and performant models among manual cordless circular saws. It is designed for those who are engaged in construction or carpentry as a main job, and not as a hobby. The saw is equipped with 190 mm toothed woodworking discs (branded or any other with the same dimensions), providing a cutting depth of up to 61 mm. Great sawing depth, together with an equally impressive range of angle adjustments (up to 57°), allows you to perform almost all types of cutting wood.
Advantages and disadvantages
The motor is made with brushless technology. That is, it consumes less energy, but it is more powerful than conventional motors. Therefore, the saw does an excellent job with all types of wood and easily cuts boards with a thickness of 50 mm without a drawdown in speed. In order for the disk to "bite" in the tree, you still have to try. But if it suddenly jams, then the electronic engine protection will work.
The saw fits perfectly in the hand. She has a good weight distribution (no side outweighs when working on weight). There is a work area light, and you can connect a vacuum cleaner (although there are complaints that too much dust and sawdust fly around instead of getting into the nozzle). But in terms of noise, the saw “grazes the rear” (103 dB is a bit too much for a hand-held power tool).
Maximum power with moderate power consumption
Despite the very solid price (not everyone dares to pay so much for a manual circular saw), the saw is sold without batteries. Batteries must be purchased separately. This saw is part of the Flexvolt range. That is, its batteries can work in two modes: as 18-volt batteries or as 54-volt ones (with a DeWALT DCS576N saw, they give out 54 V). This feature allows the tool to deliver the maximum power in peak mode (the manufacturer claims that the device is the equivalent of a 1600-watt network handheld circulars), while remaining not too “gluttonous”. But conventional 18-volt DeWALT batteries will not work with this circular, use only those that are labeled Flexvolt.
