At first glance, the technical characteristics of the DeWALT DCG412M2 grinder are not particularly impressive: the speed is average, the output power is not the highest. But DeWALT has managed to strike the perfect balance between performance, battery life and price. Therefore, this model has not left the assembly line for many years, remaining popular and in demand. It is used in factories, construction sites and workshops for grinding, cleaning and abrasive cutting of various materials from ferrous and non-ferrous metals to wood and stone.

Everything is great except for one

DeWALT cordless angle grinders are generally distinguished by a well-thought-out design, and this model is no exception. She has a good weight distribution, allowing you to work with one hand without installing an additional handle. The gearbox is identical in design to similar nodes of network angle grinders, so it has a large margin of safety. The small (low profile) gearhead allows you to clean welds in corners and hard to reach places. The protective cover has a quick turn mechanism, which is very convenient to use. The case is included.

On the grinder, the handle is closed. It has a shackle that protects the fingers. You can lean on the bow while working without fear of hurting your hand. But many users complain that this controversial design makes it difficult to take full advantage of the tool, as the protruding part makes it difficult to work in tight spaces.

An addition to your DeWALT tool collection

You should buy a DeWALT DCG412M2 grinder if you often work where the wires will only interfere (on the roof, stairs or scaffolding). The cost of an angle grinder with two batteries (4 Ah each) cannot be called low, but these batteries will fit all other 18-volt DeWALT tools: screwdrivers, drills, renovators, saws, etc.
