Powerful and well balanced pistol drill/driver with increased maximum torque and battery power. Belongs to the class of professional hand-held power tools designed to perform significant volumes of assembly and dismantling, construction and finishing works. It comes with a set of two lightweight DeWALT XR Li-lon 1.5 Ah @ 18 V batteries, a proprietary charger that charges batteries in just 30 minutes and a shockproof case for transportation and storage.
The DeWALT DCD780C2 drill driver is equipped with a reinforced planetary gear and a powerful commutator motor with overload protection. Electronic speed control of the keyless chuck is supported, which is implemented using a sensor built into the trigger button of the switch. The dual-mode gearbox provides two operating speed ranges. The first one (up to 600 rpm) is used for driving/unscrewing screws, self-tapping screws and other fasteners. At the same time, the tool can develop an impressive maximum force of up to 60 Nm. The second speed (up to 2000 rpm) is suitable for fast drilling of structural steels, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, wood, polymers and composites. There is an electric motor brake, a convenient reverse switch and LED lighting.
