It is based on a pseudo-8-bit AH-IPS matrix of the classic FullHD format, i.e. The image is displayed on the monitor screen at a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. A distinctive feature of the display, which distinguishes the model from its peers, is the almost complete coverage of the sRGB colour space by the matrix, which puts the Dell S2218M in the light of a suitable solution for working with graphics (albeit not at a professional level). Other "chips" of the screen are W-LED flicker-free backlighting (Flicker-Free) and AMD FreeSync adaptive synchronization technology, designed to eliminate tearing and freezing of the picture due to a discrepancy between the display refresh rate and the fra...me rate at the output of the graphics card. Also in the arsenal of the model there is a function of filtering harmful blue light, designed to reduce the visual load on the user's eyes.
