Model overview based on user reviews
The Deepcool RF 120 3 IN 1 fan set is praised for its excellent performance, PWM control, and RGB lighting, making it a popular choice for those building or upgrading their systems. Users appreciate the price-quality ratio and the inclusion of extenders and a lighting controller, which enhance its value. The fans are noted for their quiet operation at lower speeds, although some users report a rattling sound at low RPM and a humming noise at higher speeds, which can be bothersome. The RGB lighting is bright and syncs well with compatible systems, though some users experienced issues with color consistency over time. Overall, the Deepcool RF 120 3 IN 1 is considered a good choice for mid-budget builds, offering a balance of aesthetics and functionality, despite minor compatibility issues with other RGB components.

On three out of five fans, there is a constant rattling sound at minimum speed, which is incredibly annoying unless you're wearing headphones. This rattling persists up to 800 RPM, where it turns into a hum. The maximum noise level indicated as 27dB is clearly understated. Even at 1100 RPM, their hum overpowers the power supply hum, which has a minimum noise level of 30dB. At maximum speeds, which are actually 1600, not 1500, the hum is akin to a plane taking off. A set of 5 fans was purchased. In the end, for its price, this is an extreme disappointment. Considering all the drawbacks, the real price for a set of 5 pieces is 2500 RUB, but not 4000 RUB+. For quiet builds, it's better not to purchase. Material Quality Backlight Brightness Obvious humming at high RPM Rattling at low RPM |
The only thing I want to add is that these coolers are not compatible with other hardware with RGB, I noticed in time and refused this kit. Price-quality ratio Incompatibility with other components (there is dropsy, the connectors are separated) |
Excellent coolers with PWM and RGB. This model is equipped with non-addressable RGB LEDs, which can synchronize with Asus Aura technology. In this case, RGB lighting synchronization is done via 12V 4-pin connectors on the motherboard (in my case, for example, the Asus B450-F). Unlike the single cooler package, this one includes an adapter and extender, allowing you to connect up to 6 RF120 RGB coolers to the motherboard. Thus, this set is ideal for purchase when building a system from scratch or completely replacing the coolers in a system. performance, PWM control, RGB not yet detected |
