Deepcool GAMMAXX L240 V2 (DP-H12RF-GL240V2)
![]() | Outdated Product A two-section liquid cooling system that uses a special coolant instead of water. It belongs to the class of ready-made All-in-One solutions, which distinguishes it from custom liquid cooling systems that require self-assembly, purchase of components and filling with coolant. It is a representative of the universal Gammaxx line, which includes mainly affordable mass-market cooling systems aimed at budget users. The entire design of the Deepcool GAMMAXX L240 V2 weighs almost 1.3 kilograms and is capable of dissipating up to 250 W of heat, which in terms of performance is approximately equivalent to modern tower coolers with two radiators and a pair of active fans. The wide copper base contains many thin channels through which liquid passes, effectively removing heat from the processor, espe...cially if it consists of several chiplets. The rotation speeds of the pump and fans on the radiators are controlled using PWM technology. The fans can operate in the range from 200 to 1700 rpm, and the pump rotation speed can reach 2000 rpm. The fan blades are decorated with customizable ARGB backlighting with multi compatibility. In addition, the system is equipped with Anti-Leak protection technology, which increases the reliability of the device, and a wide range of processor mounts, which increase the compatibility of the system and simplify the installation process. I read reviews for a long time, almost every one was contradictory, but it was enough for my Ryzen 7 2700x. I wanted something quieter, but the temperature decreased even in "World of Tanks", now in the hangar it's 48-50 degrees, and in the game itself it jumps from 50 to 60 depending on the scene. But I adjusted the pump and cooler settings in the BIOS to a lower mode in advance since my PC doesn't have serious tasks. And there's no need to run it at max, this way the resource will last longer. Easy to install, quiet fans (I read many reviews in which they change them), and the pump is quiet Very thin wires for the pump and fans |
240mm model. one screw knocks at high speeds, in fact the heat dissipation feels like 150-180, the length of the hoses may not be enough, in general it copes with the i5-10600k, I hope it won’t leak... common dropsy the blade of 1 propeller is coming soon, and this is -1k for a new propeller, moral fear of leakage |
Written 250 tdp only for Ryzen) for Intel 165... Water is normal, holds 9700k in overclocking Everywhere they write that TDP is 250, but you only find out about Intel when you start overclocking the processor..) use Deepcool GAMMAXX L240 V2 few months |
Give water to the people!
Deepcool Gammaxx L240 V2 is one of the most affordable two-section liquid cooling systems at the moment. The postscript in the name "V2" implies the presence of Anti-leak Tech technology, which reduces the likelihood of refrigerant leakage to zero. It is implemented in the form of an elastic cone that equalizes the pressure inside and outside the LSS circuit.
Efficient heat dissipation
The pump pumps refrigerant at a constant speed of 2400 rpm, while creating only 18 dB of noise, which is almost inaudible to the ear. Further, through 31-cm nozzles, the liquid flows to a heat-dissipating finned radiator, blown by a pair of 12-cm fans. The speed of the turntables is adjustable from 500 to 1800 rpm, and their air volume and air pressure force are 69 cubic feet per minute and 2.4 millimetres of water column, respectively. This whole design is capable of cooling a processor with a TDP of up to 250W.
Northern lights
As a tribute to fashion, a customizable RGB backlight is implemented, connected to the 12-volt "5050" connector of the motherboard or the LED controller of the case. Using MSI Mystic Light, ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and ASRock Polychrome applications, you can set any glow colour. But, alas, it’s impossible to choose a rainbow transfusion, since addressable ARGB lighting is already the privilege of older dropsies, for example Deepcool Castle 240 RGB V2.
Majority Choice
Deepcool Gammaxx L240 V2 is compatible with all popular processor sockets: Intel LGA1151, LGA2011, LGA2066, AMD AM4, AM3+, etc. The only exception is the relatively rare AMD TR4, for which you will have to buy a more expensive dropsy, like the aforementioned Castle 240 RGB V2. And for those who have a low-core, and therefore not very hot processor, but still want to try the LSS, we can advise the cheap single-section Deepcool Gammaxx L120 V2.
