Affordable and efficient cooler for mid-range gaming PCs

With the GAMMAXX 400 and GAMMAXX GTE, Deepcool scored 9 out of 10. These were affordable yet excellent CPU coolers that were almost in no way inferior to more expensive options from first-tier brands. Therefore, it is not surprising that the guys from Deepcool decided to build on their success by releasing a pack of improved and modified versions of these models.

Good energy efficiency with low noise level

The second version of the Gammaxx GTE V2 is technically very similar to its predecessor: almost the same dimensions and weight, four copper tubes with direct contact with the processor, an aluminium heatsink and a 120mm fluid dynamic bearing fan. The fan speed is adjustable from 500 – 1650 rpm, and the TDP is 180 watts. This is enough to effectively overclock "stones" like the Ryzen 7 Matisse 3800X or Core i7 i7-10700K without having to work to the limit. However, it is relatively small to fit in most mid-tower cases without blocking access to the RAM slots. Yes, and it does not make much noise, especially if you do not bring it to maximum speed.

In white

If we take the price out of brackets, then the option with white colours and white backlighting, which looks extremely impressive, became no less a reason for enthusiasm. Seriously, at first the idea of painting the cooler white seems stupid, but then Deepcool hit the bull's-eye, if you are tired of the usual black cases or multi-coloured game boxes, and your soul requires something extravagant in the spirit of the Fractal Design Define R5, the GAMMAXX GTE V2 will be one of the few white coolers that will emphasize the elegance of such an assembly. In addition, to activate the backlight, you do not need to connect additional connectors to the motherboard. Although, because of this, the brightness of the backlight depends on the voltage supplied to the fan.
