Low-cost-class power supply, mainly designed for mid-range PCs. Suitable for case in ATX form factor. Deepcool Aurora DA500 provides the right level of fundamental voltage stability and is 80 Plus Bronze certified. The efficiency is at the level of 85%, which allows the power supply to remain moderately warm even during peak loads that occur for a long time. There is an active cooling system in the form of a quiet cooler. The manufacturer's claimed MTBF is 100,000 hours, and the warranty is 3 years. The mains input voltage is 110/230 V. Three voltage lines are provided: 12, 5 and 3.3 V. The main connector is a 20 + 4 pin connection, the CPU connector is 1x4 + 4 pin, and PCIe is 2x6 + 2 pin. There are also 5 SATA connectors (15 pin) and 3 Moliex connectors (4 pin). The length of the main po...wer cable is 1400mm. The fan compartment is half-covered with transparent plastic, which allows the cooler to easily focus and evenly distribute airflow across the board. The fan noise level is at around 33 dB, which is an excellent indicator for a power supply unit with a total power of 500 watts.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Deepcool Aurora series, including models like the DP-BZ-DA500N, DP-BZ-DA600N, and DP-BZ-DA700N, offers a range of power supplies with varying wattages. Users appreciate the affordable price point and sleek cable design, particularly the black sleeving that complements cases with windows. However, several reviews highlight concerns about fan noise and vibrations, which can be disruptive, especially in quiet setups. Some users reported issues with voltage stability and component failures over time, suggesting that while the units are budget-friendly, they may not be suitable for high-end builds. Additionally, there is confusion regarding different modifications under similar names, which can lead to purchasing mishaps. Overall, the Deepcool Aurora series is seen as a decent choice for budget-conscious consumers, but those seeking long-term reliability might consider investing in higher-quality alternatives.

normal model, nothing special

Be careful when buying DA500. Deepcool has two modifications of them, you can distinguish them by the presence of the inscription Aurora. DA500 Aurora P/N:DP-BZ-DA500 (http://www.deepcool.com/ru/product/powersupply/2015-05/276_2047.shtml) and DA500 P/N:DP-BZ-DA500N (http: //www.deepcool.com/ru/product/powersupply/2016-12/276_6313.shtml) have different characteristics. In online stores they put up a photo of the DA500 Aurora, but in fact they sell the DA500 P / N: DP-BZ-DA500N.
Haven't tried it in action
Under the guise of one came another. Deepcool put everyone into a stupor.
Buy a normal power supply, on the second PC there was a chieftek and it remained intact.

From the very first voltage drop, the motherboard burned out exactly, neither the bulbs, nor anything else burned out, apparently my toaster has much better protection than this power supply
Beautiful numbers and a bronze certificate
Mother died and maybe something else
You assemble a quiet PC and enjoy the squeak of the unit.

For that price, it's nice to get 700w. It's nice that the cables are almost entirely in black sleeving, especially if the case has a window and won't be placed by your feet. But there's this sound of metallic friction under load. It's distinctly audible during active work. You can ignore the noise from the HDD and cooling, as the PSU will take all the attention.
Wires in a braid and don't look like an electrician's gay rainbow.
700w.
Annoying fan noise. Short wires.
