Model overview based on user reviews
The Deepcool CK-AM209 is a compact and efficient CPU cooler, ideal for budget-conscious users. It features a low-profile radial aluminum heatsink and an 80mm fan, making it suitable for processors with a maximum TDP of 65W. Users appreciate its affordable price and effective cooling performance, particularly for entry-level CPUs like the Athlon 200GE and Ryzen 1600x. Despite being a 3-pin cooler, it manages to keep temperatures in check without excessive noise, even under stress tests. While it may not be the best choice for high-performance or overclocked systems, it offers great value for money as a replacement for stock fans in low-heat environments.

great model, love it

i stood with the Athlon 200GE above 45 degrees and did not get warm in stress tests.
cooling thermal paste

use Deepcool CK-AM209 less than month
nice cooler, I don’t know if there is a better one for the money

stood with 1600x Ryzen, with kpt8
sounds like a very daunting experience
nevertheless, the CPU didn't overheat much and didn't die (as it operated at 3700 max for half a year)
well... wait for 4pin for 250 rubles, cooled 95 watts, and thanks for that
use Deepcool CK-AM209 month or more i recommend it should buy

When Price Matters

The Deepcool CK-AM209 is a compact and efficient CPU cooler with a low-profile radial aluminum heatsink and an 80mm fan. It differs from common tower models with its minimal height (56mm) and the ability to cool the surrounding socket area with CPU power converter elements.

Cooling Not Just for the CPU

The key advantage of the Deepcool CK-AM209 is its incredibly affordable price, even by Deepcool standards. Five dollars for a cooling system is a steal, even compared to the cheap stock fans included with low-power processors. Thanks to this price, it is often purchased for additional cooling of complex lighting systems with powerful LEDs. In such use, it doesn't need to operate at full power, so it's not particularly noisy.

Suitable Only for "Cool" Processors

Tests have shown that the Deepcool CK-AM209 handles heat dissipation well around 75W and even 95W under full load. However, the official TDP is stated as 65W, so such stunts shouldn't be performed regularly. We think this is a good option as a replacement for a noisy and not very effective stock cooler for a basic level Core i3 or Core i5 with low heat output. For cooling more powerful options, especially ones with overclocking, something more serious is needed.
