Deepcool CASTLE 240EX (DP-GS-H12-CSL240EX)

Two-section liquid cooling system from the Chinese brand Deepcool, which belongs to the popular all-in-one type. This means that the heat sink, fans, fluid block with pump and hoses with fittings are already prepared for PC assembly and do not need additional manipulations. The model is the youngest representative of the 2019 CBO CASTLE family. It is positioned by the manufacturer as a mid-range product designed to cool mid-range Intel and AMD processors with a TDP of no more than 250 watts.

Heat dissipation from the aluminium heatsink is handled by a pair of 120mm curved impeller fans with PWM speed control ranging from 500 to 1800 rpm. At minimum speed, the system practically does not make any sounds; at peak load, the manufacturer promises a maximum noise level of 32 dB. To facilitate the installation of the system, Deepcool CASTLE 240EX was equipped with durable and flexible tubes in a protective braid 31 cm long, as well as all popular socket mounts of recent years.

Addressable RGB lighting is implemented on the cover of the water block, and the fan blades do without LEDs, as is usually customary in this kind of CBO. Instead, Deepcool designers have added the ability to display a custom logo of your favorite esports team or your own Youtube or Twicth channel on the water block cover. ARGB LEDs can be trained to work in time with the rest of the PC backlight using one of the popular lighting synchronization systems (Gigabyte RGB Fusion, Asus Aura Sync, ASRock Polychrome and MSI Mystic Light Sync).
