This security camera complies with the HDCVI standard and can only be connected to an HDCVI DVR. Dome Dahua DH-HAC-HDBW2220E is a completely modern analogue device with support for FullHD resolution, and its sensor has a resolution of as much as 2.4 megapixels. The sensor size is also solid - 1/2.8", which to a certain extent guarantees high image quality. The minimum ISO level of 0.05 Lux makes it possible to reliably conduct full-fledged colour video recording even in extremely low light conditions.

The device has the ability to record video even in complete darkness, as it is equipped with infrared illumination, effective at a distance of up to 20 metres. Like all other models, when shooting in the infrared spectrum, the camcorder switches to monochrome mode. Thanks to coaxial cable operation, this model can transmit FullHD images that are not inferior in quality to digital cameras, even when connected with a 300-metre segment of the connecting cord.

Functionality is top notch. There is an OSD menu for offline setup, automatic weak signal amplification, BLC backlight compensation, 3DNR progressive noise reduction, and other functions.

As for the case, its protection class is claimed as IP67 (the device must literally withstand immersion under water), and the anti-vandal protection class is IK10, that is, quite high. However, if the lens of other anti-vandal cameras is usually hidden under a metal dome, then the Dahua model has a protective cap over the lens completely made of plastic. Therefore, in places with a high degree of vandalism, it is advisable to install this outdoor camera higher, where it is difficult to reach it.
