Chieftec APEX AIR black (GA-01B-M-OP)

A spacious Midi Tower case from the wizards from Chieftec with a classic two-chamber design in which the main elements of the PC are located in the central part of the case, the power supply is hidden in the lower tray, and the wires are hidden in special clearances for hidden routing. Chieftec APEX AIR is positioned by the manufacturer as an excellent choice for gamers and enthusiasts who require a strict, high-performance case with good ventilation and a classic design.

Thanks to the ability to install large components and an efficient cooling system, this case is ideal for creating powerful gaming and work systems with massive graphics cards, motherboards and complex cooling. The Chieftec APEX AIR case supports ATX, mATX, ITX motherboards. Unlike the standard version of the case with four ARGB fans and a glass front panel, which is designed to look as attractive as possible, the AIR version is designed for more efficient cooling.

Right out of the box, it is equipped with three large fans with a diameter of 140 mm, and the manufacturer claims a total of 11 places for fans, as well as 2 areas for placing water pumps (360 mm at the top or 420 mm at the front). In order to optimize airflow, the manufacturer used a mesh covering for the front and top panels, and also partially perforated the side cover and tray.

At the top and bottom of the case there are also dust filters with latches and magnetic Velcro. Despite the emphasis on high cooling performance, the Chieftec APEX AIR also takes noise into account. Three pre-installed 140mm PWM fans operate efficiently and quietly, even at high speeds. However, the mesh front panel may allow more noise to pass through compared to cases with solid panels and additional noise insulation.
