A good pushchair for perfectly flat sidewalks
16 April 2017
My daughter was born in February last year and this pushchair was bought at the same time. The option seemed interesting, first of all, because the pushchair folds well and really completely transforms. Well, the Chico brand seems to be a serious brand and not the cheapest, so we counted on quality.
Pretty, one might even say stylish. It's good for a newborn. By itself, the cradle is not at all big, but it is quite enough for the crumbs. It folds and converts from a carrycot to a stroller easily and simply. Small in size and therefore manoeuvrable. The front swivel wheels help her with this. Convenient height adjustable handle. There are no complaints about the strength of the stroller. Metal racks are a bit scratched and nothing more. Pretty light, even I lifted it up a small staircase with my child.
The small cradle, which was enough for us last spring, was already cramped by the end of summer. We grew up quite quickly and this disadvantage must be borne in mind if the child is initially tall. Even in the spring there was a lack of warming. It simply does not exist, just a synthetic rag and that's it. The next problem is the small foam rubber wheels. The small size greatly reduces patency on broken sidewalks, and in our city there is a lot of such goodness. And foam rubber does not soften bumps very well. There is a shock absorber, but it works frankly poorly, so the pushchair rides shaky on uneven sidewalks. The basket at the bottom is capacious, but it is difficult to put something more or less large there. The distance from the cradle to the basket is very small.
A good and stylish budget option
29 September 2018
Before purchasing, I read reviews about it. Here's what I'd like to highlight!
1) "Doesn't fit in the 9-floor apartment elevator" - NOTHING FITS IN THERE. An exception might be umbrella strollers, but you can't use those for infants. So, that's a housing issue, not the stroller!!
2) "Doesn't fit in the trunk" - find out which car it was tried in. For example, it fits in a Subaru XV without issues, verified!
3) "No bag for the mom and winter textiles cost extra" - as with many branded strollers. Not everyone needs both summer and winter textiles, so they offer you to customize your set yourself and avoid overpaying upfront. Also, I don't see an issue with buying a bag separately.
4) "Brake broke, it squeaks, etc." - my stroller went through two kids, and the brake is intact! Maybe I got lucky, or maybe it's about careful use.
5) "Not for poor roads" - if you plan to go off-road or on sand, it's better to buy a "tank" right away and not blame the stroller later. On regular city roads, which I can't call good, it goes fine. I've never had to drag it myself.
6) My son used the stroller until he was 2.5 years old. At 2 years old in winter, he fit well in a down snowsuit. Maybe if I tried to wrap him in 33 blankets, it would be tight, but with 1 blanket, everything was OK!
Conclusion: When choosing a stroller and reading reviews, think about where and how you plan to use it and what personal quirks it should satisfy! Personally, I am satisfied with it and recommend it as a good product in this price segment.
Easily folds
Lightweight
Very easily transforms from a bassinet to a stroller and vice versa, so if the baby falls asleep, they can be laid down comfortably
Spacious basket
Almost all textiles are machine washable at 30 degrees
The back of the seat unit is without padding, so it doesn't overheat the child's back in summer
Since it's a transformer, there's no need to worry about where to store the already outgrown bassinet
Price. I consider it budget-friendly, if only because it fits within the child benefits. For this price, it's the most worthy option.
Doesn't perform well on snowdrifts, sand, and cobblestones, like most strollers with similar-sized wheels! So, if you're planning to go off-road, choose a tank-stroller. It rides well on regular city roads with potholes, bumps, and curbs. The canopy could provide better sun protection.

great model, love it
27 December 2017
We are very satisfied with the stroller. We are currently using the Urban Plus Crossover as a walking stroller. I like that the baby's seating area is quite far from the ground. In the fall, much less dirt splashed on us compared to the owners of lightweight but low strollers. The Urban Plus Crossover weighs about 10 kg, which is an average weight, but it's too heavy for me. It's good that it fits in the elevator without any issues. We only fold it for transporting in the trunk. It folds and unfolds perfectly, nothing gets stuck.

The rubber wheels with shock absorption are very nice, the shaking is minimal. On nearly smooth asphalt, it flies rather than rides! I also like its appearance—fashionable and sporty. Everything looks very neat and, I would say, expensive. The hood holds its shape both when folded and unfolded, it doesn’t crumple. The basket at the bottom doesn’t scrape the asphalt, even when loaded with shopping, and it also holds its shape well. Plus, the inevitable autumn dirt wasn’t visible on the black background)))
sturdy, well-made stroller, suspension+soft wheels, reversible position, wide seat, easy to maneuver, good brake, various accessory collections, large selection of accessory colors, very stylish appearance, stain-resistant textile

Modern and functional

The Italian brand Chicco, one of the leaders in the children's goods market, has created a modern model for urban conditions: light (just over 10 kg in total), compact, manoeuvrable, with an interesting futuristic design. Unlike other universal pushchairs, this is a transforming pushchair. Turns a cradle into a walking block and vice versa with a few hand movements.

freedom of choice

Stylish, elegant, functional Chicco Urban folds up like a book with or without a seat. And thanks to its compactness, it will fit in any boot. But you need to know that in addition to this product, you will have to purchase not only a car seat and an adapter for attaching it, but also a set of textiles — a sun visor, a cover for legs, an insert in the walking block and soft pads for belts. The package includes only a rain cover and an insert in the cradle. But at your service a huge variety of colours to choose from. If you wish, you can even buy several sets and change them according to your mood. The frame of the pushchair itself is black, which is good — non-staining and versatile.

For city driving, but not off-road

The swivel front wheels of the product are equipped with a lock that can be used as needed. The shock absorption on the rear wheels allows you to ride smoothly on the road. However you need to make a reservation: only on a flat road. For forest trails and bumpy areas, the pushchair is still not intended. But the wheels are not inflatable, but pneumatic rubber with plastic rims, so they are not prone to punctures

Baby protection

With the help of simple manipulations, the walking block turns into a cradle with a hard bottom, which can be used as a carrier and separately from the pushchair (the bumper of the pushchair is used as a handle) and vice versa. Five-point seat belts in the pushchair version securely fix the baby, the soft shockproof bumper is removed, and the seat unit has 3 tilt positions up to completely horizontal. The footrest is adjustable to the needs of the baby, and the handle of the pushchair is adjustable to the height of the parents (4 positions). The block can be installed both in the direction of travel and against it. Below is a very spacious shopping basket.

Since the pushchair is small in size, due to which it is very manoeuvrable, there is another point: some users note that in the cradle for a large baby, especially in winter clothes, it is not as spacious as we would like — you should pay attention to this.
