A relatively affordable color inkjet multifunctional device in A4 format, which is capable of performing the functions of a full-fledged duplex printer, flatbed scanner, monochrome/color copier and fax. The main feature of this model was the pre-installed factory continuous ink supply system (CISS) with large ink tanks for increased output volumes and moderate cost of prints.

Positioned as a mid-price product from the 2023 Canon MegaTank family, intended for use in small/medium offices. Thanks to the high degree of integration of a large number of useful functions in a relatively small body, the Canon MAXIFY GX4040 MFP allows you to reduce the area occupied by equipment in the workplace and optimize office work. The impeccable quality of Canon thermal inkjet printing combined with the affordable cost of ink will be an important factor when choosing a multifunctional device for monthly print volumes of up to 3,000 ppm (peak load up to 33,000 ppm). It is also worth noting the decent output speed (b/w 18 ppm), which is quite comparable to inexpensive laser printers. The integrated Wi-Fi 5 wireless interface module allows you to receive print jobs from mobile gadgets over the air. The capacity of the CISS tanks makes it possible to output up to 6,000 b/w pages and up to 14,000 pages in color on one.
