analog of 6550 MSA, I wanted one for myself after observing my sister using the blender. She has been using it for about 5 years. Metal leg; can be immersed in any temperature, works very well. Sharp blades, which is important, do not dull after many years of use, unlike cheaper products and those from other brands. This is truly a find in terms of price/quality/functionality. Indispensable if there's a child at home!!! My sister's 6550 MSA had a lid for the container, and it was convenient to store prepared dishes in the refrigerator, and there's no wall holder, which is inconvenient. Where to buy? excellent powerful blender We were choosing between a multitude of brands and models and I'm glad we decided on this model. The chopper is large and convenient (it chops both meat and vegetables). The whisk is the "fluffiest" and most effective; it can whip cream and egg whites, though not butter creams! The mixing attachment is metal, allowing you to easily prepare hot pureed soups and cocktails. It is easy to clean and doesn't splash.
