Precise cutter adjustment
Bosch POF 1400 ACE is a professional router for home use as well as for work in production. The depth gauge with a ruler allows you to adjust the milling depth from 1 to 55 mm. The depth gauge is additionally equipped with an 8-level depth stop, the adjustment of which will allow high-quality material sampling in several passes. And for particularly precise adjustment of the height of the cutter (error up to 0.1 mm), the design provides a micrometric adjustment knob.
Working with different types of wood
The model is equipped with a long parallel stop, which is fixed with a screw on the frame of the router. Additionally, a cam stop and a centering pin can be installed, which will allow you to perform figured and circular milling. The soft start function ensures the start of work without jerks and, accordingly, damage to the working material. Depending on the type of wood and its density, you can adjust the speed of the cutter with a 6-speed regulator in the range from 11,000 to 28,000 rpm. It is worth noting that the model works exclusively with collets 6 and 8 mm.
Reliable chip protection
Two guides are dressed in corrugated tubes that protect the device from chips.
