For dust collection and mopping

The model of the American brand BISSELL is designed for dry and wet cleaning. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with two tanks: for clean (0.82 liter capacity) and dirty water (0.62 liter dust collector). When the maximum liquid level in the latter is reached, the engine automatically turns off, and a special float-indicator is provided for clarity of filling.

There are two modes of operation: cleaning hard surfaces and carpets. Management comes down to pressing the appropriate button on the handle of the vacuum cleaner, as well as using the trigger to supply water. When cleaning fluffy floors, the default spray is 2 times more liquid. In general, the model does a better job of cleaning flat floors and carpets with a minimum pile length.

Multifunctional brush

The BISSELL 17132 comes with one universal nozzle — an electric turbo brush with a removable rotating microfibre roller. It is responsible for dust absorption, washing with water and liquid intake (with solid volumes of the latter, as users note, the nozzle does not cope too confidently).

The brush has a large working surface area, which will reduce the overall cleaning time of open spaces, but will make it difficult to access corners and various cluttered places. Also, the nozzle is equipped with LED backlight, which will “tell you” where there is still dust, crumbs or other contaminants.

Easy Care

In the BISSELL 17132, the main structural elements are easily removed for cleaning under running water. This applies to tanks, brush roller, HEPA filter that keeps the smallest particles of dust and dirt inside the vacuum cleaner. After washing, you just need to dry all the components. Additionally, an automatic cleaning mode is provided. The vacuum cleaner is placed in a special complete tray, into which water is poured, and then the device turns on for 10 – 15 seconds.

The disadvantages of the model include an inconvenient storage system for the power cord. It is necessary to wind the 7.5-metre wire manually, yes, and during operation, the extra metres only get confused and interfere. The disadvantages of BISSELL 17132 are not the lightest weight (4.9 kg), the possibility of water stains on hard surfaces, especially if the floors are not perfectly flat. If these are not critical moments for you, then take a closer look at this universal vacuum cleaner.
