Filtration principle

A five-stage filtration system and reverse osmosis will allow you to get clean water at the outlet.

The first stage of filtration is mechanical. At this stage, using a sprayed polypropylene filter, all solid particles larger than 5 microns are removed from the water, such as sand, scale from water pipes, and so on.

The second step is sorption purification. With the help of a filter made of granular coconut charcoal, which has a high resource, water is purified from active chlorine compounds and other organic compounds.

At the third stage, water undergoes mechanical post-treatment on a polypropylene filter from fine suspensions and is prepared for a reverse osmosis system.

The main element of purification is filtration through a reverse osmosis membrane. The membrane material is a thin-film polyamide composite with micropores, whose diameter does not exceed 0.0001 microns, which allows removing all harmful impurities from the water, including bacteria and viruses. The reverse osmosis system used is capable of even phenol and cadmium, the latter, by the way, is only partially excreted by the body and for 10-35 years.

The final stage takes place under the influence of a carbon filter treated with silver. At this stage of purification, unpleasant odours and tastes are eliminated, and the water becomes completely ready for consumption.

Installation and equipment

The presented model of the flow filter received a rich package that allows you to mount and use the device with comfort. With the help of plastic keys, valves, clamps, connecting pipes and clear instructions, you can install the cleaning system yourself, but if you don’t want to work with your hands, Barrier offers a free installation of the device by a specialist in almost every region of the country.

For ease of use, the kit includes a water tap with a fitting and washers, as well as a set of gaskets. It is noteworthy that this tap can be mounted on a sink made of any material without gaps and distortions.

The filter also comes with an 8-liter storage tank, which has a barrel shape, so that the tank does not take up too much space under the sink. And the dimensions of the device 39x42x19 cm are not the largest, so the model can be considered for small kitchen niches.
