My job requires a good long lasting compact flashlight. I am the controller of the district division of the energy company and almost every working day I take readings of electric meters. Most of my site is multi-apartment buildings in which the meters are installed in the stairwells, that is, outside the apartments. Lighting in such places is not always good, so without a flashlight you can’t see anything at all. I bought this model a year ago and am very pleased with it. The flashlight itself is quite small, less than 10 cm long, so it is very convenient to use it. You can put it in your pocket or attach it to a patch pocket of a shirt or to a trouser belt by a clip. It has a lightweight aluminium case, weighs a little more than 50 grams, so the pocket does not pull at all, and it is not felt at all in the bag. There is a focus adjustment, you can make a very narrow and very bright beam, or you can defocus to a decent cone of acceptable brightness. In general, its brightness is very high and even superfluous for me to work. It is a pity that there is no regulator that reduces the luminosity and saves the battery. It’s better to throw away the regular battery from the kit right away, because I didn’t even have enough for one working day. The declared 1200 mAh is not in sight there.
