British B&W audio systems are very popular. They are used in their products by Apple, Jaguar, Maserati and the legendary Abbey Road recording studio. The embedded system CCM 663SR has embodied almost all the traditions of the brand for almost 70 years of its existence.

Perfect for interior

The model is made in a classic round form factor with a diameter of 240 mm and requires an installation depth of 130 mm. But outside, after installation in a wall or ceiling, there is nothing left but a neat protective grill, conveniently fixed on magnets. The shape of the grill can be not only round, but also square, which guarantees perfect placement in any interior.

Live sound of compositions

Responsible for the sound is a 150mm woofer/midrange driver with a Kevlar cone and two voice coils and two inch tweeters in the centre. This design allows you to create the most natural sound. In fact, the sound signal is combined into one and sent into space.

The loudspeakers perform well as rear satellites in a surround sound system, for which a special two-position switch is responsible. When using speakers in stereo mode, speaker cables are connected to two pairs of gold-plated terminals, and when turned on in the rear channel, to any of them.

Acoustics has a stable impedance of 8 ohms and a high sensitivity of 88 dB, and is well combined with receivers and amplifiers up to 160 watts.

You will have to pay a lot for all this pleasure in the face of the B&W CCM 663SR — about $400. But it's worth it, believe me.
