The anti-sanction filter for true patriots is assembled from east european components and performs the mission of thoroughly purifying tap water from contaminants of a motley nature.

Confident step towards the goal

The goal of the Atoll A-550 Patriot is to make tap water the most usable in its "raw" form. And the model moves towards it with a confident step, overcoming 5 stages of filtration along the way. First, the water passes through a coarse filter, where large-caliber particles from 5 microns are deposited. Then organic impurities and active chlorine are removed from the water in the depths of the cartridge with granular active carbon. The pre-cleaning stage is completed by the third filter element, which catches contaminants as small as 1 µm.

reverse osmosis phenomenon

The key component of the system is the reverse osmosis membrane, which opens its pores exclusively to water and oxygen molecules. Water that has passed through the reverse osmosis membrane, with almost a 100% guarantee, is deprived of nitrates, pesticides, pathogenic bacteria, oil products and other microscopic contaminants. At the same time, part of the water is drained back into the sewer, and the filtered portion of the liquid is stored in a storage tank with a volume of 7 liters (a complete set with a 12-liter tank is also on the market).

Easy installation

By the speed of the “flight” of filtration, the system cannot be called fast — the performance of “pumping” water through all filter cartridges is estimated at 0.08 L / min. An empty tank with such data is filled "to the eyeballs" in 5-6 hours. There are also complaints from the owners of the model regarding the high cost of Pentek replacement cartridges. But in terms of ease of installation, the Atoll A-550 Patriot is ahead of the rest — the hose colour marking system, along with quick-release fittings, makes it possible to install a filter under the sink without resorting to the help of specialists.
