The anti-sanctions filter for true patriots is assembled from domestic components and performs the mission of thoroughly purifying tap water from various types of contaminants.
Confidently Towards the Goal
The goal of Atoll A-550 Patriot is to make tap water most suitable for consumption in its "raw" form. The model moves confidently towards this goal, overcoming 5 stages of filtration along the way. First, the water passes through a coarse filter, where large particles of 5 microns settle. Then, in the depths of the granular activated carbon cartridge, organic impurities and active chlorine are removed from the water. The third stage of the pre-cleaning process is completed by the third filter element, which captures contaminants as small as 1 micron.
The Phenomenon of Reverse Osmosis
The key component of the system is the reverse osmosis membrane, which opens its pores exclusively for water and oxygen molecules. Water that passes through the reverse osmosis membrane is almost 100% guaranteed to be free of nitrates, pesticides, harmful bacteria, petroleum products, and other microscopic contaminants. Part of the water is drained back into the sewer, while the filtered portion is stored in a storage tank with a capacity of 7 liters (a 12-liter tank version is also available on the market).
Simple Installation
The filtration speed of the system can't be described as fast—the water "pumping" capacity through all the filter cartridges is estimated at 0.08 l/min. With such data, an empty tank is filled "to the brim" in 5-6 hours. Some owners of the model have complaints about the high cost of replacement Pentek cartridges. However, in terms of installation convenience, Atoll A-550 Patriot is ahead of the game—the color-coded tubing system along with quick-connect fittings make it possible to install the filter under the sink without the need for professional help.
