Model overview based on user reviews
The Atlantic Steatite VM D400-2-BC boiler is generally well-received for its reliability, ease of use, and silent operation. Many users appreciate the dry heating element, which prevents scale build-up and allows for easy replacement without dismantling the unit. The boiler maintains water temperature effectively, even with irregular use, and offers good thermal insulation. However, some users have reported issues with the temperature indicator, stating it is inaccurate and misleading. The model is praised for its simple mechanical controls and robust construction, including a steel tank with protective coatings. While the heating process can be slow, especially for larger tanks, the boiler is considered a good choice for hard water areas due to its durability. Despite some concerns about service support and the temperature indicator, the product is recommended for those seeking a reliable and efficient water heating solution.

normal model, nothing special

Nothing good heats up for a very long time before reaching the maximum temperature of 3 hours. Then when something stands in it, it creaks and groans inside and air appears. 65 degrees temperature is not enough. Up to this point, there was no such problem with wet shadows.
It takes a long time to heat up and makes noise when idle. Assembly is not good.
just bought Atlantic Steatite VM 80 D400-2-BC  i recommend it don't buy
i recommend it to everyone

i really like the boiler. works like clockwork. about the arrow (temperature indicator) - the instructions clearly state that the arrow is relative, without an exact measurement, I just remembered by eye where its position is and that’s it. I think any electronic gadgets are not needed for the boiler, it heats water and cool. about the service, I called, got through, but all services are very expensive.
does the job, beautiful model.
i haven't discovered it yet
use Atlantic Steatite VM 50 D400-2-BC month or more i recommend it should buy
If you need a simple and hassle-free model of a small volume

I bought this water heater on the advice of a relative who sells household heating equipment. He recommended this brand and model with dry heaters. I live alone, so I opted for a small fifty-liter tank - it is enough for a shower (I don’t like taking a bath in principle) and for the kitchen.
Water heats up fairly quickly. For the shower, it can be used within half an hour after switching on, which is especially valuable in summer. It uses dry heating elements that are not covered with a layer of scale. They are distinguished by increased reliability, but even if such a heating element burns out, the water heater does not have to be dismantled and removed from the brackets - dry heating elements can be replaced without violating the tightness of the tank. Works silently. In principle, there is no hissing or hum, which happens with water heaters with classic immersion heaters. Good thick-walled inner steel tank, protected by special enamel and soluble sacrificial anode. After turning off, it is able to keep water hot for a long time, which indicates decent thermal insulation and low losses. Has protection of an electric part against the increased humidity.
An arrow thermometer shows the temperature VERY approximately and with a delay. And sometimes he just brazenly lies, overestimating the testimony. A little pricey. I think that the price of domestic products could be lower.

Excellent guarantee for "diamond" glass ceramics

The vertical boiler model of the French manufacturer Atlantic Steatite VM 50 D400-2-BC will be a good choice for a young family of 2 people. Pleasant cylindrical design, concise and convenient operation, as well as a compact format of the model will appeal to many buyers. The device is equipped with a 50-liter steel water tank, coated from the inside with high-quality Diamond-quality glass-ceramic enamel, protected from scale and corrosion by a magnesium anode. The manufacturer gives an 8-year warranty on the internal drive. An empty device weighing only 17 kg, even with a tank filled with water, any main wall will withstand without problems.

"Long-playing" steatite heating element

The built-in "dry" ceramic heating element with a power of 1.5 kW, thanks to a closed design with a protective flask, allows the boiler to work with both soft and hard water. A full tank of water heats up from 10°C to 60°C in 100 minutes, which is a good time for single heater systems. At the same time, during the day, a boiler heated to the maximum possible temperature of 65 °C consumes only 0.95 kWh. The device is controlled by an external mechanical thermostat, and the double insulation of the internal wiring reliably protects the user from electric shock. In addition, the boiler has overheating protection and an overpressure relief valve. The device is designed to operate at an inlet pressure of cold water from 1 to 6 bar, which is slightly lower than that of analogues, requiring the installation of a reduction gear already at a pressure value of 4 bar.
