The design of the Atlantic HM 050 D400-1-M water heater includes an outer casing, efficient high-density polyurethane foam thermal insulation and a durable inner tank made of low-carbon cold-rolled steel sheet (designed to operate at water pressure up to 7 bar). To protect the metal from corrosion in...direct contact with hot water, a two-layer zirconium enamel coating is used, which is resistant to sudden temperature changes. Additional electrochemical protection against corrosion is provided by a replaceable sacrificial magnesium anode, and proprietary Ohmic Protection technology doubles its service life.
