Big, strong, heavy
When you look at the ZenPower Pro PD, the dimensions of the device immediately catch your eye. If modern power banks have noticeably lost weight and at the same time increased internal volumes, the Asus model turned out to be unusually large and thick: 315 grams versus 200 grams for other popular 10,000 mAh batteries. However, few people will carry one in their pocket, and an extra 100 grams in a backpack is unlikely to create problems. At the same time, everything is assembled efficiently and reliably, and the body is almost completely made of metal.
Complete set of cables including DC adapter for laptops
On the top end there are USB-C and USB A ports, a flashlight LED, four battery level indicators and a power button. The USB-C port can power the connected device in one of four modes (3A / 5V, 9V, 15V, 2.25A / 20V) and is quite suitable for charging laptops with the corresponding port and Power Delivery support. For example, a completely dead Acer Swift 5 with a 4670 mAh battery in an hour we managed to charge exactly half. However the laptop was in sleep mode, otherwise the charging process would have been noticeably delayed.
No fast charging for smartphones
Unfortunately, support for Quick Charge was not delivered, so smartphones with support for this fast charge will be charged as if from a conventional power supply. Given the rather high price of this power bank, this seems to us a serious omission. Yes, and the capacity, taking into account the price and dimensions, could be more, nevertheless, the available 13600 mAh by the standards of 2020 do not seem to be something out of the ordinary. But it's great that the kit includes a complete set of cables for any type of USB-C to USB-C, USB A to USB-C and USB-C to DC connections).
