Minimalist everyday laptops from Asus are “thin, light, perfect.” At least, this is the motto under which the models of the family are promoted on the market. Given the use of a 16-inch screen, the laptops of the line really turned out to be “thin” (13.9 mm) and lightweight (1.5 kg). The Asus Vivobook S 16 OLED M5606NA has a wide-format OLED panel with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a high resolution of 3200x1800 pixels.
The screen is called Asus Lumina - it supports HDR, has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, boasts high-quality color rendering and TÜV Rheinland certification for safe levels of blue light emission. The hardware configuration here is optimally balanced for performing a wide range of tasks. The modifications under consideration are equipped with a 12-thread "six-core" Ryzen 5 7535HS with integrated Radeon 660M graphics.
The built-in LPDDR5X-6400 RAM is 16 GB, SSD M.2 NVMe data storage is 512 GB. The laptop case has room for two full-size USB ports, a couple of USB type C, an HDMI connector, a card reader for microSD cards and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The picture is completed by a convenient keyboard with a Num block, a Full HD webcam with a protective curtain, Harman Kardon stereo speakers and battery life of over 14 hours. The case also has MIL-STD-810H protection.
