Near-top laptops from the new TUF Dash product line for gamers, which Asus launched in 2021. They belong to the upper part of the middle price segment and, unlike Asus TUF gaming laptops, they are not so much created for gamers as they are tailored to the requirements of designers, artists and other creative professionals. Asus engineers borrowed the thin chassis and advanced cooling system from the ROG Zephyrus laptops, painted the chassis completely white, but at the same time retained the signature features of TUF laptops: a shockproof case, a simplified mounting system for self-replacement of memory, and an excellent price-performance ratio.
The manufacturing capabilities of Asus TUF Dash F15 2022 FX517ZM laptops provide a high level of performance both in modern games and in professional applications for photo / audio / video processing, compiling, rendering, etc. The hardware base includes a 12th Gen Core i7 10-core processor, GeForce RTX 3060/3070 graphics, 16GB to 32GB of overclocked DDR4-4800 RAM, and a fast 512GB or 1024GB SSD.
The design of the laptop supports self-installation and replacement of RAM and M.2-drive. The cooling system inherited from Zephyrus successfully copes with the cooling of the filling of this level. The 15.6-inch IPS display delivers Full HD resolution, limited color reproduction (63% sRGB) and supports a 144Hz refresh rate, which is especially important for dynamic games. Additional equipment of the TUF Dash F15 includes a solid-color backlit keyboard, a DTS X Ultra-enabled audio card, a state-of-the-art network controller, and a modern USB 4 port with support for fast charging and Thunderbolt protocol.
