The Taiwanese company AOpen is a division of the parent corporation Acer Computer Inc. Toward the end of 2021, she released the 16PM6QTbmiux ultra-thin portable monitor.
Touch control
The competitive advantage of the model over "classmates" is a screen with a touch input function and support for ten touch points. Diagonally, the display of the monitor stretches to 15.6 inches, its resolution corresponds to the Full HD format (1920x1080 pixels translated into a pixel grid). As a substrate under the screen, an IPS-matrix with a standard refresh rate of 90 Hz and a flicker-free Flicker-less backlight is used.
Ergonomic stand
The monitor was armed with on-board speakers with a total power of 2 W, equipped with miniHDMI and USB-C connectors. The last port also serves to supply power to the device. On the “back” side of the design of the mobile monitor, a built-in flat stand is provided, which allows you to adjust the screen tilt angle in a wide range up to 180 °.
Suitable Roles
Of the shortcomings of the model, the meager colour gamut is noted - only 45% of the NTSC space. However, the monitor is not sharpened a priori for graphics processing. The device is more suitable for the role of a second screen for a laptop or a means of displaying images from mobile devices(smartphone, tablet, etc.).
