The Asceticism of Samurai
The Aiwa MQ2712-B is a 27-inch monitor from a renowned Japanese brand with a 75-year history. Thanks to the increased QuadHD resolution, the model provides a respectable image density of 108 PPI, so there will be no pronounced graininess on the screen. A refresh rate of 120 Hz appears to be an excellent indicator for a business-class monitor, as higher values are usually found in gaming solutions.
No HAS, but with VESA
The monitor is built on an IPS panel with 178° viewing angles, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5 ms response time, and an anti-glare coating. FlickerFree and LowBlueLight technologies help reduce eye strain during extended use. Notable simplifications include the absence of HAS height adjustment: users can only change the tilt angle. However, a VESA 75x75 mount is provided, so if necessary, the monitor can be installed on a separate bracket with more flexible positioning adjustments.
Three Carefree Years
The interface set is fully digital: HDMI, Display Port, and USB Type-C with DP Alt Mode support and 15W Power Delivery charging. The only remaining analog jack is the 3.5mm Mini-Jack, which will be useful if the built-in stereo speakers with a total power of 6W are insufficient. At maximum wLED backlight brightness, power consumption reaches 48W, and a pleasant bonus is the extended warranty period of 3 years.
