Acer's TravelMate series laptops are portable PCs in the entry- and mid-price segment, which are mainly suitable for working outside the office and solving other simple everyday tasks. Representatives of the family are equipped with a 16-inch FullHD screen with an IPS matrix and quite standard (basic) picture parameters, including a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The matte body of the laptop has a moderate weight of 1.87 kg and is characterized by increased impact resistance, as it complies with the military standard MIL-STD-810.
Another important feature of the Acer TravelMate P2 TMP216-51 laptops is a good reserve of autonomy: the 50 Wh battery provided here should provide up to 13 hours of operation on a single charge. The hardware of the representatives of the line is based on Intel processors of the Raptor Lake family (13th Gen), and depending on the configuration, this can be either a 6-core Core i3 or a more powerful Core i7 with 10 cores.
In addition, at least 8 GB of DDR4 generation RAM, an integrated Iris Xe or UHD Graphics graphics adapter, as well as an SSD M.2 solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB in top versions are provided. Among other features of laptops, it is worth highlighting the increased attention to protecting user data, for which there is a fingerprint scanner. In addition, we note the presence of a white keyboard backlight, a gigabit LAN port and a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) wireless module for connecting to the Internet, and current wired interfaces, including Thunderbolt v4 and HDMI v 2.1.
