Thin, light and stylish ultrabooks from Acer with powerful hardware, modern equipment and high-end OLED screens, which are increasingly found in the laptop market. High-end, part of the Acer Swift 2023 Ultrabook line-up, built to work on the go. The Core i7 Raptor Lake hardware platform provides optimal performance at reduced power consumption through the use of hybrid P and E-cores.
Responsiveness and performance of the system is provided by LPDDR5 RAM (frequency 4800 MHz, volume from 16 to 32 GB) and an impressively fast M.2 SSD with support for the fourth generation PCI-E interface. And the use of younger models of NVIDIA Ada Lovelace video cards (in particular, the RTX 4050) allows the manufacturer to position Swift X 14 ultrabooks as entry-level gaming laptops.
All modifications of the Acer Swift X 14 SFX14-71G have a high-end 14.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It has the increased headroom (550 cd/m2) required for HDR video playback, and DCI P3 color gamut coverage reaches 100%. According to the manufacturer, such a device will be an excellent option for a conditional creative (for example, a designer, coder, artist or layout designer) who prefers constant movement instead of sitting in the office.
The claimed weight of the aluminium case is 1.55 kg with a thickness of only 18 mm. For a device with a 14.5-inch screen, these are modest numbers, so such a device is unlikely to somehow embarrass the owner, lying in a bag or backpack. To control the laptop, there is a comfortable ergonomic keyboard with solid color backlighting and a massive glass touchpad with support for gesture control.
The webcam is equipped with a pair of microphones with intelligent PurifiedVoice noise reduction and supports the Acer TNR feature to improve image quality in low light conditions. Webcam resolution is 1080p. The built-in battery with a screen brightness of 50% calmly holds a charge for 12-13 hours. User data is protected by an anti-theft lock, a biometric scanner and a TPM cryptographic module used for data encryption and secure authentication in corporate networks. The built-in network controller is friendly with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 networks. Part of the USB ports belongs to the fourth generation and supports the Thunderbolt 4 protocol. There is also a built-in card reader on board.
