Line Swift Go 16 SFG16-71

Lightweight, comfortable and stylish, Acer's 2023 Swift Go mid-range laptops are designed and optimized for on-the-go performance. They stand out due to modern and well-balanced equipment, which can be useful to a variety of categories of users, whether it is a news site editor, a university student or an accountant in a construction company. The hardware here is moderately productive, the battery holds a charge for a long time, the aluminium case weighs little and is well-assembled, and the ultrabook itself looks nice and modern.

Despite belonging to the 16-inch format, the aluminium body of the Swift Go 16 weighs only 1.65 kg with a thickness of 15 mm. With 99% certainty, we can say that such an option is unlikely to be annoying if you have to carry it daily in a bag or backpack. The built-in battery holds a charge throughout the working day without any problems, without requiring emergency recharging at the wrong time.

To control the laptop, there is a comfortable ergonomic keyboard with solid color backlighting and a massive glass touchpad with support for gesture control. The webcam boasts Quad HD resolution, a pair of built-in microphones with intelligent PurifiedVoice noise reduction and support for Acer TNR technology that artificially enhances image quality in dim light. The main screen was not an OLED matrix, as in the Swift X models, but a regular IPS screen with a resolution of 1080p, a 60 Hz refresh rate and standard brightness, contrast and color reproduction.

The hardware "stuffing" of this line is based on the mobile platform Intel Raptor Lake (13th generation), in which the Core i5 / i7 processor is complemented by integrated Iris Xe graphics. The memory kit includes 8GB to 16GB of energy efficient 5200MHz LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1024GB M.2 SSD. The processor is cooled by an advanced TwinAir cooling system with two fans and copper heat pipes. User data is guarded by a biometric fingerprint scanner, a TPM 2.0 cryptographic module and a kensington/noble anti-theft lock. Also in the pluses of Swift Go 16, you need to add several modern USB 3.2 gen1 and USB 4 ports, support for HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, an anti-theft lock, biometric fingerprint protection and the ability to work in Wi-Fi 6 networks.
