Acer Spin 5 SP-513 55N is an ergonomic convertible laptop based on the Intel Evo platform, which implies the use of Intel Tiger Lake processors, dual-channel RAM, Thunderbolt 4 interface, Bluetooth v5 communications and Wi-Fi 6. Devices from this league should also work in offline mode for at least 9 hours on a fully charged battery.
Instant transformation
The model under consideration pleasantly surprises with light weight (about 1.2 kg) and compact dimensions (300x235x15 mm). The top cover of the hybrid laptop can open 360°. Together with the touch screen, the device instantly transforms from a laptop to a tablet. The display of the gadget has a diagonal size of 13.5 inches and displays a picture in high resolution 2256x1504 pixels. However, the screen supports the proprietary stylus Acer Active Stylus based on Wacom AES technology. The display and touchpad surfaces are covered with tempered Gorilla Glass. The wide bezels at the top and bottom of the screen are a little frustrating, but in general they do not spoil the picture.
Hardware platform
The heart of the Acer Spin 5 SP-513 55N is the Intel Core i5-1135G7 quad-core processor with an integrated Iris Xe Graphics G7 video core. "RAM" on board the model provides 16 GB (works in dual-channel mode), data storage is represented by a 256 GB M.2 SSD. The technical parameters are quite sufficient both for smooth operation and for quick launch of applications.
Long-playing character
Two Thunderbolt 4 ports (combined with USB type C), stereo speakers with DTS support, and modern wireless communications add convenience in handling the device. The owner of the laptop is identified by a fingerprint - a fingerprint scanner for this case is built into the power button of the device. For a snack, it remains to mention the long-playing nature of the model. So, in low load mode, a 56 Wh battery provides the gadget with up to 15 hours of autonomy. In office mode with regular trips to the expanses of the World Wide Web, the transformer will quietly last a full day.
