New generation OLED screen
While Acer isn't often associated with premium laptops, we think their Swift X business line is underrated. That's true, as the recently released Swift X 14 (SFX14-72G) is a great example of a modern Ultrabook that combines long battery life, powerful hardware, and a fancy OLED display that can compete with Apple's new M-powered MacBooks.
Advanced equipment
The Acer Swift X 14 SFX14-72G is equipped with everything you need: a 100 W charger, a built-in battery that provides up to 12 hours of operation, and 4 full-fledged USB ports, including USB4 with Thunderbolt, as well as a card reader. The motherboard supports the PCI-E 4.0 bus, which allows you to install a hyper-fast SSD. Communication modules support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 standards, and the webcam transmits images in Full HD. The built-in sound card is compatible with DTS X Ultra formats. The case is made of aluminum, is well assembled and weighs only 1.5 kg, which makes it ideal for business.
Core i5 processor + GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card
In terms of hardware, the situation is quite unusual. Most business-class laptops in this price range use pre-top processors such as Ryzen 7 or Core i7 with integrated graphics and 16 GB of RAM. In our case, the balance is slightly shifted: the processor is a Core Ultra 5, the RAM is increased to 32 GB, and instead of integrated graphics, a discrete GeForce RTX 4050 with 6 GB of memory is installed. This turns the business-class ultrabook into a modern gaming machine, albeit not a very powerful one.
