An almost golden classic of mechanical gaming keyboards with a full-length layout. The A4 Tech Bloody B840 features a high-strength aluminium alloy body and improved water resistance. All buttons received an optical-mechanical design, the mechanics of the keys is based on the Light Strike optical switching system. The button response time is only 0.2ms, which is at least 30% faster than any of the mechanical counterparts.

At the same time, the space bar has a reinforced design, which made it possible to significantly stabilize the pressing of this button. The working life of the keys claimed by the manufacturer is at around 100 million keystrokes. There is also a built-in backlight (red colour) with the ability to adjust the brightness of the glow. Replacement keycaps (8 pcs) are also supplied with the keyboard.

Auxiliary buttons have a pleasant to the touch surface and are distinguished from other keys by a rich orange colour. The keyboard implements Anti-Ghost technology, which applies to absolutely all keys. It is possible to quickly activate the game mode, in which the Win buttons are blocked. The keys use Long-Lasting technology, which allows the buttons to emit a specific typewriter sound when typing. Connection with a classic wired type computer, the cable has a length of 1.8 m.
