In the compact case of the UA-705 model, there was no place for a compressor — it is necessary to manually inflate the cuff to take pressure measurements. To do this, the tonometer is equipped with a pear with an air release valve. Using a pear is very simple — you need to pump it up until the device beeps. The tonometer makes further measurements automatically.

Definition of arrhythmia

The obtained measurement results are displayed on a large three-line display. It displays blood pressure readings (systolic and diastolic) in large numbers, and the pulse in smaller numbers. By the way, the device is able to detect heart rhythm disturbances and warn the user about it by means of the arrhythmia indicator icon.

Pressure calculation

The internal memory of the tonometer stores up to 30 results of the latest measurements. In addition , the device calculates the average pressure, which allows you to derive the most accurate value based on several measurements in a row. And a small indicator opposite the colour scale at the left edge of the screen will tell you if the readings comply with the norm according to WHO recommendations.

Carry bag

To store the device, a convenient bag with a zipper is provided, where all the components of the tonometer (the device itself, cuffs, pear and air hoses) are placed. A spare battery can also be placed in the inner pocket of the bag, but the need for it is not so great, since one charge of the AA battery is enough for 2000 measurements. Even if measurements are taken 2 times a day, the battery can provide up to 3 years of autonomous operation of the tonometer.

Helpful advice. To obtain reliable measurement results, do not take pressure measurements when you are very tired, after taking a bath or playing sports, or when you are nervous.
