Powerful drill/driver with increased torque, durable brushless motor and battery power. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the upper price category. Designed to perform professional assembly, assembly and dismantling, finishing and construction work of considerable intensity. Thanks to battery power, it will be especially useful in facilities that are not connected to a household electrical network.

Equipped with a high-tech brushless motor that exhibits increased efficiency, superior reliability and exceptional overload resistance. With the help of a two-speed planetary gearbox, its impressive torque is converted into the rotation of a practical quick-release chuck, enabling quick tool changes with one hand. When working with soft materials, the maximum tightening torque (50 Nm) can be limited by the 21-position clutch.

To accurately control the rotation speed of the Makita DDF485Z drill driver chuck, precise electronic control is provided that responds to the depth of pressing the trigger switch. There is a coast brake, reverse and bright LED lights to help you work in poorly lit areas. The tool is powered by Makita LXT Li-Ion batteries with a capacity of 1.5 to 4 Ah with a voltage of 18V. Moreover, batteries, charger and case are not included in the package.

I was looking for a Makita for the 18th century. This is the best thing you could buy, I don’t regret it.

I chose the old 6270/6271 as a replacement. Overall I’m happy with the size, not like a 2+ kg bandura.
I compare only with other Makita Shuriks, the sizes are excellent for me, the weight is convenient (3 AH), the backlight is quite bright. But in general, the advantages are the same as those of similar Shuri Makitas. There is a belt hook included.
The illumination is close to the chuck; when using a regular bit, the end of the bit is not illuminated. The internal airflow is so strong that the parts of the body where it blows freeze. Very small revolutions are difficult to catch with a button. It was easier with the old Shuriks. The ratchet on 21 is rather weak, it could have been stronger. The kit does not include a plastic slot for storing 2 bits.
