"Red car" for a welder

In the welding machine "Zubr" SA-160, some "chips" that are interesting for users are implemented. It's not just about features like hot start, arc force or anti-Stick that make the welder's job easier. In addition to them, the "red car" boasts good protection from environmental influences. Design features such as effective forced cooling, well-functioning overload protection and high-temperature varnish coating on all electronic boards make the welding machine a very reliable device adapted to different operating conditions. However its cables are short (only 1.8 m) and not very convenient.

Unpretentious device

There are problems with electricity in dacha and garage cooperatives, but Zubr is able to cope with them. This inverter works stably with voltage fluctuations in the network (cooks metal even at a voltage lowered to 160 V) and can be powered by current from small generators. The maximum current consumption of the device does not exceed 25.9 A — that is, standard 25 A automatic machines will knock out only in extreme cases.

Entry level welding inverter

Zubr SA-160 will appeal to those who are engaged in welding from time to time or are just taking their first steps in this profession. The fact is that the welding current scale (which is regulated by a large and convenient "twist") is duplicated by pointers with the corresponding electrode diameters — you can't go wrong. And more sophisticated users may like “red cars” more powerful: 190 A, 220 A or 250 A.
