High speed
Externally, the ZTE brand router is a neat black box measuring 204x165x47 mm without protruding antennas (there are only built-in ones). This laconic design was awarded the IF Design Awards 2022 and continues to be used by the manufacturer in new devices.
ZTE T5400 supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard and has an increased bandwidth of 160 MHz. Therefore, the model corresponds to the AX5400 class, which mainly means high speeds: for 2.4 GHz networks - up to 574 Mbps, and for 5 GHz - 4800 Mbps. The MU-MIMO technology will add speed with an abundance of connected devices (maximum 266 clients), and the increased radius - Mesh mode with additional compatible routers.
Easy to operate
The model is equipped with an NFC chip, which is used for easy connection of smartphones - literally in one click - and a simple procedure for setting up Internet access. Fast Wi-Fi networks are complemented by four LAN ports at 1 Gbit / s for wired connection of various home devices. Plus, two connectors can be reassigned to WAN if necessary.
Ready for winter
The router can be used in the range from -20 to +50 °C, which makes it ready for winters in our latitudes. The case is also not afraid of high humidity (up to 95%) and should withstand falls from a small height, which, provided additional protection from precipitation and dust, allows outdoor use.
