The Zorg ZR-56 D food waste disposer is presented on the market as a product of a Czech manufacturer, but in fact it has Chinese roots. This is the reason for its low price, although we must pay tribute to the 3-year warranty for this model. The device uses the technology of single-stage disposal of organic waste, followed by the removal of crushed residues through the sewer system. This is one of the "slenderest" and lightest shredders in its class: with dimensions of 401x194 mm, its weight is 5.9 kg. A relatively small chamber where food remains are crushed has a volume of 1070 mL. As a working unit, a crushing disc is used, which, like the working chamber, is made of wear-resistant stainless steel, designed for a long service life.
Ability to use remote control
The permanent magnet motor has a power of 0.75 hp. (560 W), which is enough to serve the needs of a family of 3 – 4 people. The motor with automatic power supply protection and overload protection allows you to grind waste at a speed of 2600 rpm.
