This key component is responsible for safe current transmission and correct automatic shut-off upon boiling, preventing overheating and short circuits. The device's body is made from a combination of stainless steel and heat-resistant glass, ensuring chemical neutrality of the container and allowing visual control of the heating process without the need to scrutinize narrow built-in scales.

Upon activation, a bright LED light inside the kettle illuminates, acting as an operation indicator. The Zelmer ZCK8012 electric kettle is designed to boil up to 1.8 liters of water in one cycle, meeting the needs of a family of 4–5 people. An important operational feature is its power consumption of 1500 watts. This value is intentionally reduced compared to the standard (2000–2400 watts), which increases the time for boiling water but makes the appliance safe for use in homes with weak wiring and reduces the peak load on the power grid.
