A two-chamber refrigerator is a good thing for a city apartment, when all the products are bought in small quantities in a nearby supermarket and there is no need to stock up on them for a long time. We have one with 230 refrigeration and 70 freezer compartments, this is not a lot, but in our own house, which has a plot of land, a dozen fruit trees and a small vegetable garden. A two-chamber refrigerator suddenly begins to be insufficient. More precisely, there is not enough space in its freezer. 30 liters are needed for freezing meat, poultry, fish, butter and semi-finished products. So it turns out that only 40 liters are needed for everything else. And in our case this is not just not enough, we can say that this is nothing. Almost 170 liters of useful volume of this freezer, compared to 70 liters of the freezer of our two-chamber refrigerators, is simply Aladdin's cave. In fact, in size it almost replicates a full-fledged refrigerator, except that it is slightly shorter. In the lower part of the vertical chamber there are four impressive transparent drawers. Above them there is a thin pull-out shelf for quick freezing of berries and similar small items in bulk. And at the top of the chamber, behind the folding transparent door there is a large quick-freeze chamber. If you additionally press the quick-freeze button, then everything that is on this shelf and under it freezes very quickly. The temperature is set by a rotary regulator, that is, mechanics. The chamber is well insulated, which allows it to keep cold for a long time when the power is turned off and provides high energy efficiency of class A +. The front legs are height adjustable, but the range of this adjustment is small. In our case, it was not enough to compensate for the crooked floor. |
